LEAVING YOUR CARAVAN AT LEACROFT

SUMMER STORAGE
• Your caravan will be towed out of the compound, parked on a pitch (subject to availability,) levelled and steadies wound down ready for your arrival. This service is free of charge provided we receive at least 72 hours notice of your booking and you are staying at Leacroft for two nights or more. Upon your departure your van will be taken back to the compound.
• Your caravan can usually be towed out at less than 72 hours notice, but will then be subject to an additional towout fee. Please note this short notice service is subject to staff availability.
• A towout fee will also apply for stays of one night and if you are taking you caravan off site.
• For storage customers we operate a minimum stay policy of three nights at all bank holiday weekends, and two nights at all other times.
• To ensure we have a pitch available for you we recommend making any booking at least 14 days in advance of your intended arrival date.
• Pitches are usually (Monday - Saturday) available from 12:00 noon – 11:00 am. During busy periods (Sunday & bank holidays) your caravan should be sited ready for you to use by 2:00 pm.
• For safe handling please ensure the nose weight of your caravan does not exceed 50kg
• Cancellations at less than 48 hours notice will be subject to a towout fee.
• For anyone using your caravan other than yourself we require your written authorisation.
• If your caravan is not conventional UK layout - ie. door on nearside of your caravan, please advise us at the time of enquiry / booking.

 

WINTER STORAGE
Due the nature of our compound any caravan placed in storage from the end of our season will not be accessible until 01 April or Easter (whichever is earlier) the following year.

STORAGE CHARGES:- 2026 / 2027
Summer 01 April 2026 – 30 September 2026
•£ 115 per month £ 460 in advance
Winter 01 October 2026 – 31 March 2027
• £ 65.00 per month £ 260 in advance
Annual 01 April 2026 – 31 March 2027
£ 655 in advance

For 2026 all our seasonal pitches have now been sold. For more information about seasonal pitches please contact us by telephone.

 

GENERAL
• Caravans are stored/moved at owner’s (your) risk and you should check your insurance accordingly.
• We are happy to fit hitch locks where provided. We currently do not fit wheel clamps -and recommend you check your insurance terms and conditions to ensure your caravan is covered.
• Only Leacroft members of staff are allowed in the storage compound.
• Our park has a Gold award under the East Devon Secure Caravan Park Scheme by Devon and Cornwall Constabulary and we are certified by Secure by Design.
• Any caravan left at Leacroft is subject to either a seasonal or storage agreement.
